Halloween!!

Sorry about the rotation thing again! This year we were B-O-R-I-N-G for Halloween!!! Not by choice though...well not my MY choice! We did manage to go to a corn maze that WASN'T HAUNTED!! Lame! And I wanted to carve pumpkins but my un-festive husband wasn't so fond of that idea. So luckily I got to dress up for work because otherwise, it would have been a seriously boring halloween! Don't worry...I'll MAKE him dress up next year...something embarrassing to redeem himself from this year! :)

Longest blog in America!!

Ok I know...the rotation thing again. Does anyone have a mac and know how to rotate them in blogspot? Because they're rotated in my computer! Anyway, it's been forever since my last post, so this will update you on the last 2 1/2 months. I promise I'll get better at this blogging stuff. I just need to remember to take my camera places!! This is Brandon and I at a Raptors game in Ogden.

This is in front of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We got a private tour by Sis. Preston (on the right) who used to live in Illinois where I served a part of my mission. The girl on my other side was my companion and we lived with Sis. Preston (who now lives in Utah) The other girl on the left is a girl we taught and baptized. She came to Utah to visit so we all got together and went through the temple and out to dinner. It was so much fun and good to see these girls again!!!

This is Brandon at drill. It was family day so I got to go see him in action (a little bit). That's him in the blue shirt. Isn't he cute all armied up in his attention stance?

Please disregard the ugliness of my face in this picture. We went to Wyoming for Brandon's family reunion. This picture was taken early in the morning after barely waking up! We went up in the mountains on a fourwheeler kind of thing. I was TERRIFIED that a bear was gonna jump out and eat us both, but fortunately, we both made it back in one piece. :)

This is at the top of a fresh water spring. It was beautiful up there!!

We went to a rodeo in Tremonton! Brandon's a big fan but I like to cheer when the calves get away and they loosen the belt on the horses and bulls. Poor animals!!

And last but not least...WE FINALLY MOVED!!! We've been staying with my parents for the past three months trying to find jobs in Ogden and a place to live so Brandon could go to Weber State. He's majoring in Technical Sales (which is what all my siblings graduated in) and is loving it so far! Here's some pictures of our new place!! We love being on our own again!!! :) Now all we need are some curtains....hmmm.....mom?

My parents took a trip with me and Brandon to San Diego last week and we had SO MUCH FUN!! Here's a picture at Knott's Berry Farm with the most exciting ride in the background!

MAJOR UPDATE!

So, I haven't updated our blog for over two months. Here's my problem. I NEVER take pictures!! Who wants to read a boring post without pictures? So....here's the few pictures I found on my camera. This first one is the Donny Osmond concert. For those of you who don't know, my dad has a HUGE MAN CRUSH on him!!! He has, pretty much, all of his songs memorized. So we came home one day and my dad informed us that he bought us tickets so we could go with he and my mom. It was actually WAY GOOD!!! He has got an incredible voice and some serious dance moves!!!



Another update: WE MOVED!! We no longer live in Logan. We've upgraded to my parents house. :/ Just for a while though. We are in the process of finding jobs in Davis/Weber county and an apartment after the jobs come. Here's our packing pictures.











Here's a picture of me and my BEST FRIENDS from high school. Oh my gosh I love them so much!!! We went to dinner at Famous Dave's and laughed pretty much the whole three hours we were there. Oh how I miss them!



And last but not least, Brandon surprised me one weekend by taking me to Salt Lake and booking a room at the Marriott hotel. We enjoyed a very fancy shmancy dinner and then went to the Real Salt Lake Soccer game. SO MUCH FUN!! I didn't know I liked soccer until I went there! Then the next morning we went to 7 peaks, then quickly came back to shower and meet my family at the Bee's game in SLC and got to watch the fireworks afterwards. It was the funnest weekend EVER and I love Brandon for planning it all!! Oh yeah, and did I take any pictures of our fun weekend? Nope! Just one at the Bee's game. I'll get better!

I'm bored and today is our five month mark of being married so I'm tagging Brandon!

1) He's sitting in front of the tv. What is on the screen? ESPN, C-SPAN, or ANY sporting event!!!
2) You're out to eat...what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Ranch(?)
3) What's one meal he doesn't like? Meals? I don't know, but he doesn't like fruit in green salads! I know that! Oh and he only likes olives in some things.
4) You go out to eat...what does he order to drink? Root Beer or Sprite
5) Where did he go to High School? Bear River - Go Bears!
6) What size shoe does she wear? um...I used to know this. I'll guess a 10...shoot...maybe 11.
7) If he was to collect anything, what would it be? All the sweet notes I leave him. Ok, in reality, something to do with sports. Maybe anything that had Vikings or Jazz written on it...balls, shirts, cups, etc.
8) What's his favorite type of sandwich? Five.....Five dollar....Five dollar footlong! Chicken breast on multi-grain bread with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and banana peppers only! He'll let me know if I order it wrong!
9) What would he eat every day if he could? Tiny spicy chicken and cookies and cream ice cream.
10) What's his favorite cereal? Trix! Smith's had a sale for a dollar a box and he about freaked out! He also likes Honey Bunches of Oats.
11) What would he never wear? A hat. Never seen him in one and probably never will. He'll also never wear anything that anyone buys him because he's SO picky with his clothes!!
12) What's his favorite sports team? The Vikings and the Jazz even though they both suck. He knows it too! Nothing can come between him and his teams though!
13) Who did he vote for? McCain
14) Who is his best friend? ME! After me I'd say Sheldon, Trent, and Nolan.
15) What's something you do that he wishes you didn't do? Watch the Bachelor, and get on Facebook. He hates both with a passion!!! Oh he also hates that I tend to open cupboards and drawers and sometimes leave them open a crack. I think it's his obsessive compulsive disorder! Everything has to be perfect!!
16) What is his heritage? No idea...
17) You bake him a cake for his bday...what kind of cake is it? Probably something with a fruity top...like strawberry shortcake or something.
18) Did he play sports in high school? No, he was a skeletor in high school!! Had he been bigger he probably would have cause he sure can't get enough of them now! But it took being in the army and filling out on a mission to lose his skeletor-ish figure. He sure is coordinated though! :) :) Boy oh boy do I like that!!!!!
19) What could he spend hours doing? Playing basketball, reading ESPN news, and making a to-do list and accomplishing EVERYTHING!
20) What's one unique talent he has? He can make some incredible sounds with his mouth and throw a pretend tantrum like a child really well. He also can eat the whole world and not gain a pound! Simply not fair!
